美国H1B签证的C-Corp owner，是否能够sign文件?

原先有个老外网友问过我一个问题，就是在美国拿着h1b签证，注册了个C-Corp的公司，公司里有个拿绿卡的员工运营公司，这种情况，虽然他不能自己为自己的公司工作，但是否能够签支票啥的。英文原文的问题如下:

"I am on H1B and have registered a company (C-Corp). I have one employee (green card holder) who does the daily activities/running the company. I would like to know the following information - even though I am not allowed to work for my company, as owner of the company can I sign documents like invoices, shipping documents, tax exempt forms, company membership forms, Vendor applications, etc."

我就这个问题，咨询了Qingqing Miao律师，Miao律师的意思是，这个在法律上属于灰色地带了，不过只是签个支票啥的，应该没啥问题。Miao律师具体的回复如下:

"There is not a definitive answer to this question as it is not crystal clear as to what constitutes 'employment'. I would say that signing checks alone does not constitute employment as it only indicates authority and power within the company."
